About This Event
In this class, students will expand beyond the basics of knit and purl and learn how to make knitted lace. They will practice reading a pattern, knitting and purling and learn how to do yarnovers. At the end of the class, students will be able to knit a lace washcloth.
This course is part of our Beginning Knitting series, where students can learn knit, purl, lace and cables.
Prerequisite: Students must know how to cast on, knit and purl.

Length of Class: 2 hours
Supplies needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in a solid, light color (no dark blue, brown, black or similar colors - we want you to be able to see what you\'re doing!).
- Size 8 knitting needles
- Pattern will be provided on the day of class
Optional, but recommended: row counter
