About This Event
In the 2nd class of our Beginning Knitting Series, students will expand their skills beyond the knit stitch and learn how to purl. Students will learn how to purl and practice the knit stitch in the same row. At the end of the class, students will be able to knit a basket weave washcloth. 
 
This course is part of our washcloth knitting series, where students can learn knit, purl, lace and cables.
 
Prerequisite: Students must know the knit stitch. 
Instructor: Cheryl
Length of Class: 2 hours
Supplies needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in a solid, light color (no dark blue, brown, black or similar colors - we want you to be able to see what you\'re doing!). 
- Size 8 knitting needles
- Pattern will be provided on the day of class
Optional, but recommended: row counter
